Word The Cat April Mix 23.7mb

In France people give each other fish on the first of April. We don’t do this in England. This mix borrows vocals from the Radio Ballad ‘Singing the Fishing‘ and features music (mostly) from Northern Europe including Biosphere, Herve Boghossian, Jacob Kirkegaard, Supersilent, Mika Vaino and Icebreaker. The final bassier track is from Australia’s Dave Miller. The vocal pile up at the end is built from the Colour of Pomegranates soundtrack.

Whoa, here I was about to comment on how much I was digging the music from the previous post on indonesian/sumatran music, and there you go posting a mix with some of my music on it. Honoured to be featured on it, killer. Maybe I should think about vocals like that in my new stuff? ;)

lovely work, and great to see (sorry, hear) supersilent out and in there – recently read a review of a live DVD of supersilent stuff, keep intending to form the intention to track down more stuff as a result *note to self, form said intention*. Another month, another beautiful mix! Thanks!
